Lirath:

A type of canine,similar to a Prehistoric Earth Dire Wolf.
very large,vicious,and highly intelligent.
Training them is an arduous task, but worth it as they are very intelligent. and as many canines are...excellent trackers.
They are often used to track down slaves.




"Guard": saying this and pointing at say a slave will indicate to the Lirath you wish it to keep the slave to stay where they are!
(IE "Guard"! points at slave in the sleeping pit...the slave girl will be confined to the area of the pit...if she TRIES to leave it the
Lirath will start to circle and growl..)

They can differentiate between a slave and free by the collars(a free person would be able to command them to let the leave an area:
("Stop guard") unless given the command "Guard free" upon which the Lirath will ignore the person who tries to countermand it.
Can only be lifted by the owner of the Lirath!

Liraths can and will kill slaves or free if commanded!("Kill")







A rumor has it that slaves being 'consecrated' to Baktos are forced to "mate" with a Lirath!
(The rumor is true!)

"Hail to the sun": A position...more like a painful punishment.
if a slave does NOT wish to bow? he/she is leashed by the back ring(ring on the back of the collar) and the leash is pulled through a ring in the floor. causing the slave to be pulled backward!
until she is pulled into a painful position.
Usually after a few minutes(seconds?) in this position a slave will gladly bpw before her/his Owner!
(used on Natalie when she first arrives at Sutras)
